What is the Most Common Zodiac Sign?
Scorpio is the most common zodiac sign. Some people might shudder at the thought of this, but there are more Scorpios than any other Zodiac sign walking around among us. Perhaps this is a good thing, as they bring such transformation to the planet. Just think of certain Scorpios who have done this, such as Bill Gates and the late Marie Curie.
What is the Least Common Zodiac Sign?
Aquarius is actually the least common Zodiac sign, which is kind of sad, as these people connect communities, love humanity and advance technology in the world. Two of the most famous Aquarians are Oprah Winfrey and the late Charles Darwin.

1. Scorpio
Scorpio makes up 9.6% of the population of the United States making them the most common zodiac sign. As mentioned earlier, there are more Scorpios roaming the planet, than anyone else. Maybe for that reason, there have been, and are, so many Scorpio politicians, such as the late Robert F. Kennedy and Condoleezza Rice, and entertainers, such as Drake and Ryan Gosling coming out of there.
2. Virgo
Just above Gemini, Virgo makes up 9.4% of the population of the United States. Virgo people keep everything neat and orderly. They make sure things run smoothly, and there is routine in the world. They cure things with medicine when nature won’t do, and are the hardest workers in the Zodiac. They are also perfectionists. Thank goodness there are so many of them! Famous Virgos include Beyoncé and Blake Lively.
3. Gemini
Gemini makes up 9.3% of the population. It is interesting to see yet another Zodiac sign ruled by the planet Mercury (Virgo is the other) so high up on this list. Geminis make sure messages are communicated with words and lyrics. They rule cars and trends too.
They are often teachers, and are needed to pass on information. In general, they help the world communicate better! Famous Geminis include Johnny Depp and Kendrick Lamar.
4. Pisces
Creative and imaginative Pisceans make up 9.1% of the population. This is great, as they provide a very soft and loving energy for others, as they symbolize unconditional love. These “fishy” people are usually highly artistic, and bring a lot of the arts to the world. They are “flower children,” often very innocent and gullible, and care deeply for those that are suffering. In general, they are good people. Famous Pisceans include Drew Barrymore and Justin Bieber.
5. Libra
Librans make up 8.8% of the population, and thank goodness for that. Librans bring with them balance, harmony and beauty. They view things objectively and make amazing lawyers and judges. They also make things look more beautiful, and rule weddings, love and relationships. They are often hopeless romantics! Famous Librans include the very beautiful and talented Gwen Stefani and Zac Efron.
6. Cancer
Cancerians make up 8.5% of the population. They’re really important for others, as they are the nurturers and carers of the Zodiac. Many are nurses, or kindergarten teachers, or even chefs that cook and bake delicious food. They’re extremely empathetic, absorb the pain of the world, are great listeners, and make loyal friends. They are simply irreplaceable. Famous Cancerians include the stunning Margot Robbie and funny comedian, and actor, Kevin Hart.
7. Taurus
Taureans make up 8.3% of the population and that’s great for commerce, the landscape, the culinary world and properties! Taurus rules money, and there are a great number of Taureans in the world of finance, balancing books and helping people with their tax. Many are also estate agents. There are also quite a high number of them walking around in the kitchens of the most famous restaurants in the world! Famous Taureans include Adele and Channing Tatum.
8. Capricorn
Capricorns make up 8.2% of the population. These people are disciplined and bring structure and order to the world. They make the best managers and CEOs. Many of them have MBAs and run companies smoothly, as they delegate duties so easily. They’re extremely ambitious, helping companies rise to the top. As teachers, they are very strict, but their students learn a lot from them. Famous Capricorns include Denzel Washington and John Legend.
9. Aries
Aries make up 8.1% of the population, and we definitely need them. They’re the most courageous of all the Zodiac signs. Many of them will literally be on the battlefield, making up a big constitution of combat soldiers. You will also find many in the gym working as personal trainers. In the office, they make wonderful team leaders, and are great at marketing and sales. Famous Aries include Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey.
10. Sagittarius
Sagittarians make up 7.3% of the population. These people are usually quite wise, super independent, very spiritual and philosophical, and sometimes religious. These people pass on information in the world, as they rule higher learning, the world of media, culture, and international travel. Famous Sagittarians include Brad Pitt and Taylor Swift.
11. Leo
Leos make up 7.1% of the population. Well, we can’t all be stars, can we? Leos are born to perform and shine in the spotlight, just like Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Jason Momoa, and 2022’s Elvis movie star Austin Butler. People with this Zodiac sign have a lot of pride, think of themselves as kings and queens, and demand respect from others around them. However, they are not dictators. They have very generous hearts.
12. Aquarius
Aquarius make up only 6.3% of the population making them the least common zodiac sign. I guess we can’t all be scientific geniuses – which many are! These people are weird, they’re wacky, and they generally love people. They rule hopes, goals, dreams, friendship, humanitarian efforts and technology. Famous Aquarians include Ellen DeGeneres and Harry Styles.
